Add a number
Pick your first number when you sign up (enter an area code), or any time in the Control panel: open SmartPBX, go to Phone numbers, search by area code and add a number. The Control panel shows the monthly price before you confirm. Each phone number costs $4.99 a month, taken from your credit every 30 days. Eligible new accounts (card saved at signup) get their first number’s first month free. If your credit can’t cover a number’s fee, we keep it for 7 days, then release it.
What’s available
Local numbers in US and Canadian area codes; availability varies by area code. Toll-free numbers are available by request: email support@mail.topaz.tel.
Send calls somewhere
A new number needs a destination. Use it as your main number, or assign it to a user or ring group. See Call routing.
Keep an existing number
Moving (porting) a number from your current provider is available by request (email support@mail.topaz.tel). How long a port takes depends on your current provider, so keep that service active until your number works on Topaz.
